What does really “blue” means? Blue represents both the sky and the sea, and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, expansiveness, inspiration, and sensitivity. Blue also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, heaven, peace, and intelligence.
But deep within, some may find the meaning of “blue” as being sad, down, unhappy, depressed, miserable, low, etc. Feeling blue is an idiom which means feeling unwell, and it is usually associated with unhappiness and depression. Feeling down, blue or sad is a normal experience in life, however, depression occurs when these normal feelings of sadness persist for longer than 2 weeks. Most of us tries to cover these reality with the things that surrounds us but a day will come when everything that we kept within us will explode. We need let these things go and move on in order to live our life in the present at it’s fullness.
